I'd love to know about this as well. My characters on beta are very old. I'd love to be able to refresh my account. Is this something that we can petition for?

i saw that the old man thorren npc in Droga was removed.. are they all removed or ?

The only reason he was he in Droga was when the exit wasn't available (frontier mountains).

Spawned him in citymist, since there's no other way out.

It'd be nice to have an Old Man Thorren available somewhere in Kunark other than CoM. If you're stuck in Kunark and don't have access to EC (ie, if you're a melee, or not bound in EC), then you can't even get to CoM.
