but anyways, I never had a problem with Brad. He made one of my most favorite games.

The only thing I can say is that he will never make another one like everquest, no one will. if each and every one of us was willing to pay enough in subs per month like 150 each, it still wouldn't be enough to justify not catering gameplay to the 1 or 2 hour a day players, who don't want to spend time exploring or figuring shit out.

There will never be another mmorpg worth playing, ever. Thats it. No money in making a good game.

the engine itself is what was upgraded along with the models. the fact that you can still play everquest is because of the upgrade from directx 8. otherwise everyone here would have to either find some way to run a directx 8 box or somehow emulate one.
