Default Increase Donations

Well every thing in this world costs money. We all know this and servers large enough to hold many people on line and a lot of data base information secure aren't cheep. If getting to play on a server like this enough to make some one want to donate some small incentives will. Here are a few ideas I have to offer.

1. Different levels of monthly subscriptions
A $5 USD Gives you a clicky unlimited charge Fire work with 5 sec casting time. Its not a lot but its still a nice fun reward for donating.
B $10 USD Clicky Illusion Half elf (No extra stats/faction change its only looks)
C $15 USD Clicky 1 clicky that can be an illusion of your choice( again no stats or faction change strictly cosmetic).

Other items of interest
Clickies
long duration spell effect ( useful for marking targets )
Summon Ale,food,water

Keep in mind you don't want to throw items into the mix that would off set any of the original economy, so the items might seem mundane.

$5 gives you the ability to play this game because it won't be shut down.
$10 gives you the ability to play this game because it won't be shut down.

As much as I would like to offer incentives for donating, it becomes a legality issue.

On a one-by-one issue, maybe? Trade one donation for one item... yah, possible issues. But... What if.. say..

XP was to be doubled for 'x' amount of time - server wide, per donation as a 'thank you' for the beer money.. once a month, or w/e.

Or a 'GM event' if you hit 'x' number.
I know there are legalities on 'selling' a 'service' such as this. But if you call it a 'player appreciation day'...

If you 'mix it up' and never promise anything... "Broadcast, in appreciation for you generous donations...."

Just thinkin' outside the buns. But yah, I guess any thing like that opens up 'legal' cans of worms. But that's the way the legal system was designed.

Designed by lawyers, for lawyers....

What about colored names on the forums? EvilAvatar does that for donation amounts.
