Several Velious tweaks made during the Luclin era include:

- Vulak Ring
- Rooted dragons
- Ancient spells

I don't see a big issue with adding these.

That's a bit disingenuous, since most players in EQ experienced Velious content during the Luclin era. Rooted dragons and Vulak ring event and all.

Rooted Dragons = P99 Raiding is boring as hell.

IDK why people swear up and down that it's the solution to p99's raiding "problems". WTF is fun about killing trash mobs for 3 hours to kill a dragon? How would that help casual guilds? The trash in ToV is probably harder then the dragons. If more then one guild is trying to compete for a rooted dragon... ToV would turn into Nagoya Station.

Now I don't want to sound like I am shitting on people's ideas on how to move forward with raiding on p99. But I really think rooting the dragons is the worst idea out of all of them.

But WTF do I know if it aint about big booties.

Lastly, Idol of Rallos Zek keeps people from wasting AoW. Just makes more sense really. It's like Velious SP3.

Nothing, that's the point. Right now it's a loot conveyor belt. There should be more pain involved in getting those loots. It shouldn't be so easy mode.

100% this... People saying they don't want Dragons rooted because killing trash is a pain, are just looking for easy loot they don't actually have to earn.

Logging in to kill just a named mob is not raiding, its farming. There IS a difference.
