Quest Issue: Plane of Sky quest items not upgraded until 4 months into Velious

"Bumping" the original (now closed) thread on this subject with the smoking gun.

I have seen the items in Plane of Sky get upgraded since the last patch (IE...if you turn in quest items they yeild upgraded and renamed quest rewards)....is there any chance of getting these upgraded items for those of us that have already attained the items? We worked just as hard as anyone currently has to for the items and deserve the same rewards.

I was wrong. While the quest items in the Plane of Sky were indeed adjusted a long while ago, it turns out that they were not patched until a few weeks ago.

His first post also indicates that the quests had to be completed again to receive the upgraded items; there were no exchanges.

Absor said lots of dumb shit. He was the worst resource ever. You could exchange items, although maybe not with the first patch.
