So the implementation on Project 1999 works differently, and therefore any conclusions we can draw about the longevity of MQ turn ins based on the fact that people used to need to do the water flask cleaning trick are not particularly valid to the server. The question would then be whether the implementation on Project 1999 altered the longevity of the items remaining on the mob from what it would have been when the water flasks were a needed precaution. I think this is easy enough to test as players... Just need to find a crap quest that can be MQed. | |||

![]() I was MQing my wizard a flux staff when xerxes handed in something at the wrong time. So we killed the mob and waited for it to respawn - it kept the quest items and my bard got a shiny flux staff.
So no - killing won't work like rogean said (at least for some) | ||
