Juntsie advise PLers to use third-party payment system to protect interests of both party. First, PLers jointly select reputable independent

Then, powerlevelor tender service as agreed. If service tendered as agreed, den reputable third-party dispense payment to powerlevelor's alt. If service not tendered, den reputable independent third-party not dispense, and hold until parties resolve dispute, or dere is ruling on issue. All parties protected. Juntsie advise powerlevelor to factor in nominal donation to reputable third-party in consideration for acting as trustee as part of PL rate.

You should still petition him. You probably won't get your money back but you might get the money removed from him and get him banned / suspended, similar to how a casino scammer may be punished.

Hello, I had hoped this wouldn't have been plastered around. Budley was acting very sketchy when discussing payment for the PL - a sign I usually take as someone who is itching to scam me - so I requested half payment up front.

My internet (fuck centurylink right in the ass) then proceeded to go out until about 20 minutes ago. Over 24 hours, but that is a different matter. (Seriously, fuck centurylink.)

I will attempt to contact Budley in-game and refund him immediately, without further service.

This is not the first time my internet has been shotty during a PL, but the first someone has gone around assuming I scammed them, and /shouted it to anyone who would listen. In the past, the PLee's have waited patiently for me to return, and the PL was finished (Krivin/Dudeman being one person this has happened to, and he can vouch for my honesty.)

In the future I will refuse service to anyone who acts the way Budley had, as it's a toxic situation for everyone involved.

I am currently banned. I'm very disappointed that GM's would jump to ban me with absolutely no word from me. They could easily see that I had not logged in to the server, or onto any of my characters since the incident. Who does that? Scams someone and thinks "welp, i guess i'm done with this game". If the ban sticks, I really will be =/

Like I said, if everything checks out you should be fine. Sometimes it's for yours and others protection, especially if your account was in the hands of someone else causing trouble. Handle it the proper way.

Build up rapport through good business practice and habits and you won't have a problem with people paying first. It just takes time.

This is my 3rd (well, 4th now I suppose) day PLing, I was only trying to gain rapport while protecting myself and my time.
