Default Monk AC/SoS vs peacebringer

Can anyone run this down for me? Level 39, no epic, fbss for haste, both skills maxed. Search revealed some conflicting arguments. I'm looking for multi angle considerations like dps, weight, push, etc.

I started using a peacebringer and can kill very effectively in lguk bedroom and surrounding area solo. But I'm wondering if the 1hb weaps will be even better. My weight is currently floating around 26 with the PB equipped also, and I'm very hard pressed to get it lower so weight is also a consideration.

Thanks

You can see the dps difference for yourself here, simply input the dmg/delays

I personally would pick PB, but you will eventually need a SOS regardless soooooo it's up to you. For solo 2h is typically the hands down winner because of riposte and damage shields. You are not gimping yourself with PB if that is your only concern

Yeah essentially, going for dps. Unless I should use one set for solo and one for group, but i was hoping to sell one of them to recoup money.

Sell the club. Use PB until you get epic, then fist+SoS from there.

I still generally use a 2H when soloing/tanking though.

This is so interesting because I keep getting both answers as to which is better lol. Maybe I'll stick with pb.

Somewhere in the early to mid 40s AC/SoS will outdamage the PB slightly, but if you are still soloing then using 1handers will cause you to take more damage from mobs you are fighting.

If you have a Fungi then it may not matter though.

Yeah I may stick with PB, it takes mobs down so fast. It might be as fast as the 1hb weaps, but doesn't seem any slower and there's the ds/riposte factor.

It sucks I spent so long getting the club and SoS though, because I kept reading that they were superior to peacebringer.

I do have a fungi but it still matters with the damage shields, especially if I get an add and I'm trying to kill my mob before fd.
