Wither way it was the first major pvp change. I doubt you were charmimg people at level 50 unless you were one of the games first level 50s

Hmm i just read that feared players took 100% nuke damage.. Maybe im wrong and the 66% damage change came first. I have shadows of memories of that too!

Charm worked for ALOT longer than a month because it took longer than a month to get 50 and I was charming Teldrin/Nizno and having them fight their own group members all the time... (Nothing like charming a warrior with blade steel of kitana lol)...

Fear/Charm would be a horrible idea for a discord server... But its whatever.

I was in naggy raid guild Nephilim at the time I think was near charms final days. Tough to recall but I think Charm and fear lasted no more than several months. Probably 5 or 6.

I have Nizno on the facebook, I tried to recruit him to play a few times but no dice! I can remember 12 hour grind sessions with him chain pulling karnors castle the first month of kunark.

Depends what you mean.

Discord server was pretty much the last good thing that happened on Live. By that time, charm and fear were long nerfed out of being used on players. If these mechanics are in place it will be one goofy server with a lot of goofy things taking place, since we now know more about how to abuse these mechanics.

If they want it to be wild they can include them, if they want it to be more or less correct, they will not be in place without some other significant changes.

I just hate seeing people say back on RZ we did this or this was like this or that, when 99% of you were like 8 and dont know shit..

Yes I was one of the first 50s (well the higher echelon of 50s during that era) and 3rd enchanter to 50..

Like Kergan said, there were so many broken things in classic, hopefully they wont let all of them in or it will just be one big clown fiesta.
