Default second account

I was wondering if I could start a second account. I often think leveling up is over rated and like to make new toons.
Can I keep my account and start another? I was thinking of having all lizards on the second one.

yes you can have multiple accounts. You're just not able to log them in at the same time (unless you have an IP exemption and they're logged in from separate machines).

It also has to be played by someone else. Boxing is not allowed. You can have 15 accounts, but you yourself can only play 1 at a time. If you give your info to a friend/relative to log you in for buffs or a rez that's fine though.

People will make fun of you if they find out you leveled up two characters on the same account....there is literally no incentive to do that...

You can have as many accounts as you want. You just can't have any of them online at the same time.

Convenience is an incentive, as managing multiple logins is a bit of a hassle. Considering that boxing and account sales are not allowed, what legitimate incentive is there to not level characters on the same account?

If you have a friend you trust you can give them the account info so they can port you, pl you, and rez you. If you have a cleric, porter, or pler class.

Anytime I am serious about an alt I make a new account - that way if there is ever a situation where I need someone to play one of my characters, its possible. It hasn't come up as of yet, but at least its an option

yup, making more than one serious character on an account is a mistake here.

Thanks. That's an important consideration and I can see calling putting characters on one account a mistake, though I don't think it's a laughable one.

I personally don't have any intention of sharing my account info (due to security concerns, but also as a play-style choice), so for me it'd be a question of insuring against the possibility of changing my mind in the future, with the cost being slightly more inconvenient logins. I'm ambivalent.
