Default Clockworks in Ak'Anon!

The guard-type clockworks are not dropping any weapons, only a small round shield in some occasions (not all of them did). They look to be holding both, but they "hit" instead of slash. Makes it kinda unprofitable to kill them, which would be cool choice for dark races since those guys are pretty easy.

As per research done on Allakhazam, fine steel does not drop from any of the Clockworks.
Loot should be as follows:
Blackbox A Series
Scrap Metal
Size 4 Sprocket
Size 5 Sprocket
Size 6 Sprocket

I'm sure the mobs were revamped somewhere along the line. The game has been out for 10 years.

Here's the entire list of all the clockworks. Went through about half the list and found nothing other than the sprockets and scrap metal

Watchman Dool 35 - 35 Monster
Watchman Hodl 35 - 35 Monster
Watchman Lyl 35 - 35 Monster
Watchman Qiz 35 - 35 Monster

Clockwork types, not Watchmen. I've noticed the Watchmen outside the city running around toting their fists. And I'm not entirely sure allakhazam loot tables are always too accurate, some stuff isn't there; ie. practically none of the Oggok Bouncers have Crude Steins mentioned on their loot tables.

Example clockworks:

http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=52

The ones around the wall-gate-barrier-thingy when you head for the city, all of them hold a shield and short sword at hand. There was one right at entrance too who had a shield and sword, but didn't drop either one.

Although:

Someone says that he "usually" has a fine steel short sword and a small round shield.

It's just that it bothers me that they're visually holding a weapon and a shield, then end up holding nothing but 8 pieces of gold. =p
