If you want the monk to tank you have a couple if options:
1. Root mobs and make sure the monk is the closest PC to them. 2. Monk solo mob to 80% before rest of party engages Root is probably best. It won't ensure you are at the top of the aggro list, but you can ensure you are it's target for the duration of the root as long as you are closest to it. And the rest of the party can jump it straight away. If root breaks from a nuke or whatever you'll learn who is at the top of the aggro list and just need to re-root if it's not you^^ Don't let that dissuade you though, it is basically the same thing you do for a warrior until 35-40 range. I think w/o a cleric or tank though you ought to play around with various strategies. That is a very solid party and there is a lot you can do outside the traditional tank and spank. That way when you reach upper end content, you already have the tools you need to consistently kick bootay with that group. | ||
