/who all count gave a result of 1128, which more or less equals the above.

Server displayed 1276 online, so I guess / all count includes anon. I suspect the difference in numbers was due to 150 people AFKing at log on screen?

Note if I logged onto my SK instead of my War to do this SK would have been more SK than War on! I guess SK being an unpopular tank class is a myth!

Ranger and Pal kinda rare still.

I always felt like SK was a better tank up until endgame personally. They didn't have to rely on finding decent proc weapons like warriors, and had plenty of HP assuming you were an ogre or troll.
