Yes it is someone's opinion, it's the server Dev's opinion, and opinion of many on the server. Why do you friends care? There are dozens of other servers that allow boxing, go play there, your friends simply have a different opinion on boxing.

Boxing imo is toxic to the social interaction EQ requires over other games in order to progress, even limiting it to 2-boxing here takes almost every loot camp in the game and makes it "Soloable" by a single 2-boxer.
