I wouldn't use it though, the stuff messes up your brain. Alcohol is actually good for you if you don't abuse it, like most anything. Saying it's not as bad as alcohol is just trying to justify something by degrees of it's danger, but still remaining dangerous. This isn't as bad as that so it must not be bad? But since when has alcohol been bad if not abused?
If we are going to justify things by extreme comparison, how is pot any good if a person is high 24/7 compared to someone that drinks two beers a week? I don't have a big problem with it because if people are going to be dumb, they may as well smoke pot since it's less prone to extreme behaviors in public. If abusers are going to abuse, they are best abusing pot rather than anything else, sit on their couches as they trip and get fat.
My main concern is long-term health implications. But studies are still out, however suggestions of things like dementia attributed to the use of pot can be an issue. But at least on the flip side, people that take pain pills, those are being found to have effects that numbs peoples empathy towards others; makes them just not care.
