I think it would be best if characters that eventually transfer to Blue are wiped of their plat and have all their items set to NO DROP. That way people can still enjoy the characters they invested their time in but won't have any incentive to hoard plat and items to resell on Blue. I think that would also encourage a lot more pro-social behavior on Green, as well. You'd see a lot less of people selling epic MQs and such. There just wouldn't be the incentive that there is now to build up a vast fortune in plat and items since you know it would be wiped in a few years during the transfer.
