 | Can not install Hey guys, I had to format and reinstall windows and now I am having a problem installing EQ Titanium client. I have the 5 install CD's and I load the first one and start the installation. I get all the way to the 5th disk and I get an error: Component Transfer Error Component: Titanium File Group: EQ Files File: D:\data6.cab Error: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check) There is only an OK button which, when I hit it, uninstalls all files and install wizard disappears. The error is always with the D:\data6.cab file I have used these disks to install before with no issues I have done a check disk and defrag I have made sure there is no EQ files on the computer before installing Any more suggestions? Can I get the D:\data6.cab from somewhere else to get by this error? Any help would be appreciated | ||

 | Sounds like its a physical problem with the cd, sorry if its silly to ask but have you cleaned it thoroughly? If so, I might recommend using a program like IMGburn to take an image of that disk and see if you can install it with that. Sometimes you can get around those errors by re-creating the cd. Let me know if both of those options fail and what comes of it! | ||

 | Thanks, The disk is a slightly scratched but nothing bad. Its not dirty either. I will use my macbook and use toast to do the Disk recovery disk cache and re-burn the disk. Ill let you know how it goes! Also, since my windows is just on a bootcamp partition on my mac I am going to wipe it again and format/reinstall windows then try to new disk. | ||

 | Well the recovery didn't work. It said that it was having a problem recovering the data6 file but it was able to partially restore it. I have gone through my drives and found an iso for CD 5 and I am going to burn an new image and try again. | ||
