There's also the other reason of a couple devs being guilded and knowing when server's get patched (or at least a window) and that gives an unfair advantage.

Rogean patches when he patches. Usually on weekends. I never know in advance when he's going to do so.

Just checking. Because it seems you may have some reading comprehension issues. And to say that you wouldn't have a general window would be a flat-out lie. I don't trust you, my point has been made long ago. You can defend yourself all you want, there's quite a history to flip around and it would take an eternity.

Say for instance, the patch yesterday. I had no idea you could actually dupe at all and you would have known (even if you weren't playing at all) that a patch was imminent. It was rushed, you'd have been privy to that info beforehand and tada! im a genius!

I really can't expect someone to volunteer the time required to run and tweek this server to do it and NOT play. Nilbog and Rogean are saints. That being said being a developer of any kind and also playing gives one and advantage that others might resent.

Like I just said I am glad that there are dev team has members that are in high end raiding guilds. Play testing is the only way to get it right.

Also, perhaps we should give Bum a break and the benefit of the doubt that he is doing his best to make this a classic and fun as possible for his own enjoyment as well as ours.
