I used the Wrapped Entropy Serpent Spine on my waste for AC (upgraded to Belt of Contention), but as a weapon I didn't care for its proc since the mob would glitch out if I didn't stay close. (like Paladin's blind spell) Some time back I upgraded to Frostbringer from the Venomous Axe of the Velium Brood, by early 50's. My Magelo profile lists gear, I think its decent for a main character.
