Ok i'm on
9. Right click the new shortcut, add 'patchme' without quotes to the end of the "Target" box. It should look something like:

and it wont let me edit that. it says
"the name'C:\program files\sony\everquest\eqgame.exepatchme' specified in the target box is not valid. make sure the path and file name are correct.

going to keep going and skip this step.

Ahh I see what the problem is. Go back and take everything out of the Target box (So it's empty) and put this in there (quotes and all, just copy/paste it):

Code:
"C:\program files\sony\everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme
It's because it's in Program Files. The space between Program and Files throws it off if the directory location isn't in quotes. THEN another space and 'patchme'

Ok when i set the "Exe Path:" to the shortcut that i put on my desktop (the one i couldn't edit) it says, "Please run EverQuest.exe"

When i change it to the actual "C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" it says

"eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" LOL

back to square 1.
