As soon as you make major deviations from what live offered to what we have here... you're going to run into dozens of forum trolls with their simple two word defense.

P99 casino bot in EC? A true platsink if bets placed are destroyed afterwards and not lootable [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] ...problem? We didn't have that on live, but we didn't have this economy situation on live either (ye olde "Velious was released by now on live" argument).

Outlaw casinos (classic) and make people play through a casino NPC... and you'll maybe prevent inflation, but you certainly won't see much of a decrease in plat floating around.

Perhaps people would be less inclined to find alternative plat sources if MQs were banned, but then again that would upset certain guilds and also isn't classic.
