Question for Sirken -

I wasn't there for Mage so this might be answered already, but the 30 sec buff period. When that ends do we immediately go into the fight or is there a period after buffing where one could reset spells on their bar?

there will be a 30 sec buff period, after which i will /shout "times up" or "stop" or something similar. if a cast is in progress its fine, but do not start casting after i say stop. after the 30sec has ended, i will replenish health and mana, i will ask both combatants if they are ready, and then i will start a 5 second countdown. make the most of your time.

I have a foolproof strategy that invokes only casting SoL. This is really going to work big time.

Very interesting, so if I started casting at second 29 my last buff
I would be allowed to finish. Good to know.

~30 seconds. Sirken must've been nice on the mages, but I believe I got about 40 seconds worth of buffs. my opinion, just keep buffing til you see the stop...

anyways, thanks sirken..was fun saturday.

wizard botb will be dumb and only like 1% of it will involve any kind of skill or prowess

the only thing for certain here is that hectorchrist will not be in the top 3

Except for this little tid-bit from the Blue BOTB (whose rules shall be duplicated for the Red BotB)

"Class Rules Wizard:

No Gflux or Invert Gravity
No Thunder Strike (Large Knockback)
No Right clicks
No Meleeing/Throwing

If there is proof given that wizards were able to use their Epic right click, it will be allowed. Until then it won't be allowed for the right click effect. The wizard would be allowed to wear the epic."

http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...26&postcount=1

So no melee and no right click epic hehehe. Grandmaster Colgate is correct in his depiction of the Cast Draught Over and Over Best of the Best.
