From my experience in there, and I hope this helps track down the problem. The desync seems to happen anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes after entering the zone. Entering the zone meaning, after you login if you were already there and camped out or disconnected, or zoning in from Everfrost. The desync problem seems to cause a delay in any action, including memorizing spells, casting spells, or engaging in melee; of about 30seconds to 2 minutes. Thats right, cast your nuke on a goblin and watch your party kill it long before you finished casting.

Ok, now on to the good observations. After we cleared all the giants out of Vox's lair, the ones with the 8 hour respawn time, we then had 8 hours of no desynchronization. 8 hours that I could walk around killing goblins. 8 hours of being able to sit in a camp and have my pet attack stuff immediately after getting agro. Now wether this was due to the giants themselves being despawned, or some other mob on a similar timer dieing from the same clear, maybe the Diplomat? I don't know. But suffice it to say, I believe something should be done about them giants and the lag they are causing the zone until a fix can be implemented.

Read: GM Nuke the giants until a patch can be implemented.
