Default Same prob

I have the same problem. It started last night after the huge lag. I figured it would be fine in the morning, but no luck. I've tried a fresh reinstall. I read that there was a way to bypass the EQemu launcher, but I haven't quite figured it out. Can anyone help?

So far I've followed the instructions on the "Help! My EQ won't work!" forum.
When I try to launch EQ from the shortcut, I get the message it says it can't establish a network connection.

Thanks,
Smoflow

One thing that did work to get me around the connection issues last night. When EQemu launcher is up and no server lists are loading, right click on the start button and choose launch only everquest. This finally got me into the game where I was able to view the servers and get on even though my direct EQ shortcut was getting the connection error.

i have been having this same problem for some months. it progressively got worse until now neither of my two brothers, my girlfriend or myself can get to anything other than a blank server screen on my home T1 internet connection. IF we luckily can get to our character screens, it crashes loading in, or has characters missing, or is asking for the spell update. if we finally do get into the game, we will surely zone-crash and have to start all over.

it seems to work fine at my girlfriends house DSL, we can all connect fine and play without any problems.
