Is the drop rate on p1999 different than live? I had one on live that I bought for like 50k? I think I traded it for a fungi tunic at some point. It currently does not drop off Golems, so yes. If you played in the era it did there was way more AoN's.

That must have been it, my time frame on all that is screwy although I am fairly certain this was all pre velious as I distinctly remember running around in KC with one.

Maybe the value for them just wasn't the same as it is here? I remember thinking it was cool but then ended up trading it because a fungi was more useful.

The fact that when only 21 AON's have dropped in the last *2 YEARS* (each of which fully accounted for) is proof enough that when 8 of them appear on the forums from no name, unguilded toons, and the price drops hundreds of thousands of plat. Anyone can see that these are being duped. Don't fall for it. Discounted AON's, sounds like a Tim and Eric skit.
