How do YOU pronounce SoW?

SoW is an abbreviation, take the O in of makes a uh sound and the W in wolf does not make a woe sound. so its is pronounced Sew as in a needle pulling thread.

The pig thing is just something my mind never connects to. I can probably count on one hand the number of times in my life I've referred to a female pig as a sow, and it just feels awkward.

Lol, why is there so much argument about word pronunciation (e.g. tow vs. toe, bow vs. bow) when SoW is an acronym. There's no way to definitively prove your pronunciation is right or even proper when you're dealing with an acronym - it just is what it is depending on the person.

Why would you make an "uh" sound with O? Correct pronunciation is S-OW. If the correct pronunciation was "S-EW", it would be spelled SeW. Anyone can look at SOW and understand how to pronounce it without additional information. "S-EW" requires explanation why it is being pronounced that way. [You must be logged in to view images. I usually call it by its full name when reading the acronym. However, I like the more unique pronunciation since sew and so are very common.
