It's odd so many ppl want double XP - Why are you on p99?

A plethora of theme park mmorpgs exist to appease your casual gaming style.

The only argument to advocating double xp is if you're leveling your 3rd+ char to 60, shit does get redundant.

As a newish low level player who worships the classic eq design, I enjoy the journey. But I enjoyed the double xp time for my wife. She doesn't enjoy the journey as much >.>

I'm relatively new to P99 and I want it because I leveled many chars on live. The early levels are very "Same old same old" to me at this point. I just want to get to the fun higher level stuff already. But that's not to say I want it to be ezmode. You could have 4x exp and it'd still be like 5x as hard to hit max lvl as it is in almost any other modern MMO.

^ Also this. I'm a cleric and I still have a hard time getting grps together. If you don't play a class that can solo it's painful especially if you play odd hours.

best bet for those classes who can't solo well is to level around EC and get buffs if poss
