The original Lodi spawn would be hard to get right.. it was the stuff of rumors. Eventually it was fixed to be 12 with a +/- 1 hour variance, me and a friend claimed him every spawn for a month in PoP, however originally he supposedly skipped spawns sometimes, leading to wide speculation on when he pops. I would assume he has the same spawn timer, only the skipping was fixed. No idea if it was intentional or not.

I am basing this map/shell info off of http://dragonsofmist.dyndns.org/alla/npc.php?id=110099 as I honestly can't remember specifics and the site seems accurate, but I do know he could drop more than 1 shell. Regarding loot, one map was 100% and the other was a 35% chance, same for shell pieces. 2 random items(even the same item). He didn't drop 4 spells every time, according to a couple threads I dug up he sometimes dropped no spells. My memory was fuzzy on that since they were meaningless by PoP era.

I recall corudoth being in at launch, but no one used him because sony was nice enough to put Keref 5 inches from Lodi's spawn, so memory could be wrong. Eventually he was made to be uncharmable, but that was 4/21/04 from what I've found. He was for the quest Reinforcements for The Tunarean Regiment, which I never even knew about. I can't find any hard evidence of him being in at launch, but the quest has comments as early as 6/4/01.

Also, in before "BRO I HAD HIM SNARED IT WAS MY CLAIM."

Not often ill chime in on "How did this work" threads for lack of better words but..

I farmed Lodizal on the regular. When he would pop he would roam down by the ice sheets, around the village then back to the ice sheets. Far out enough that when a druid with live version track [Not the horrible version here since nerf.. sorry for the low blow Nilbog] he would sometimes be out enough that your track wouldn't show him EDIT: From being at gnoll village. 1 very important thing i'd like to add is he would randomly despawn for about what im recalling atm 10-20mins? Maybe someone else can add in on this, then respawn.

^ Above post is not saying he would respawn back to back every 20 mins if your lucky, im implying after his normal cycle time of spawning he would just randomly disappear then come back, I remember it bugging the hell out of me because I was on SZ and when I saw him up no one would be in zone, he'd despawn before I engaged then i'd be stressing that he wouldn't repop back in time before someone came in to clear him.

When I farmed him he always dropped 1 map 100% of time, I kinda want to say once 'n awhile 2? My memory is telling me both directions for some reason. Always dropped 1 shell + 2 items. It was a good day if you got 2 regen belts, just make sure u had a friend to loot other one since its Lore, good cash day. Spells I don't really recall as to how many / how often.

ADD: All I can remember about Stormfeather is being exactly a 36 hour spawn. I can confidently say that 100% spawned on the corner with back to dock on gnome island, up to the right, he never roamed. I'd very rarely find him in zone then join the auction channel and see if I could sell loot rights, of course after I dragged him way way out and snared him, then threaten anyone not to pay up i'd nuke and loot page infront of them :P

I recall this being a 36 hour spawn as well. Did two eyepatches on live around the POP era. I also remember him being stationary, as I would camp nearby any log on intermittently to check for him. Location sounds correct - He wasn't too far out from the dock.

Ehhh I recall seeing him more than 36 hr spawn would allow...

I thought he had cougar placeholders or something?

Stormfeather doesn't have a PH.
