what version of directx are you running? and is this on windows 7 or 8?

can try copying dsetup.dll into your system32 folder.

Appreciate the response GoTrocks.

I'm running windows 7

I copied DSETUP.DLL from the TITANIUM CD1 \directx9\ folder
into my root Everquest folder and also into my windows\system32\

I overwrote the file, but still getting the error when lauching EQGAME.

Also if I delete the DESETUP.DLL from the \everquest folder, the EQEMU downloads it, and the file goes back in, but I still get the error.
