Default Best tracking class?

Hello everyone!

I am new to the server and was curious which class is the best for tracking rare mobs on this server?

Would appreciate any input!

Thanks

Hunters are best cause they can turn on track in the minimap. Of course anyone can use the addon that announces when it sees a rare spawn within range, just be sure to clear your cache after you see one the first time or it won't announce it again next time!

But for real I don't really know. Track was changed recently so it only lists 20 mobs total, no matter how many more than that are within tracking range. Rangers have a much longer track distance than druids and bards, but when you can only see so many mobs that is of limited use? Also rangers can sort their window but I'm not sure how exactly that interacts with the 20-mob limit.

Rangers are best trackers. Ranger + a druid is the best setup for checking a bunch of zones fast for rare spawns.

What makes the druid better than a bard? Bard can run faster and has higher max track skill.

Looks like this was just removed with the last patch. Not sure if that makes Druids or Rangers the best. I know Rangers have the biggest distance, but if you are tracking for a specific mob with a specific spawn point or path, a Druid may probably be able to find it quicker due to their smaller tracking radius.
