I can vouch that the shaman was indeed only helping a friend. Sticking to the TR only and was not even looting himself, If anything he buffed me regularly along with my group the entire time i was in CB. He wasn't taking the whole zone, only a small fraction of it. +1 for being a good Shaman and inquiry for nooby advice.

I was never asked by "a level appropriate group" if I would mind moving out of TR. I was told by a lone, arrogant lvl 12 cleric twink that I had no right to be there, that I was breaking the rules, and that he was going to log onto his main and force me out. The fact that he much later invited a couple of level appropriate people to meet him just shows what a jackass he is. I apologized to those guys and threw them some buffs, but by then I was adamant about keeping this guy from getting his way.

If you have read any of this guy's posts and can honestly say that you would yield to his whims as he tries to bully, harass, and lie his way into getting what he wants...I don't get it. Nobody is entitled to a camp already legitimately claimed by someone else. If a level appropriate group had asked politely, I would have moved on. But if someone insists on being a complete dick then he shouldn't be surprised when he doesn't get his way.

Edit: Doesn't the presence of new players in the zone make his behavior that much worse? This is how we resolve conflict in p1999, isn't it fun?

Bad publicity is still publicity. The effort you made in all this instead of redirecting that into something more positive with my guildmate, does kinda make me giggle. Peace Love Recycle.

I was grouped at the time when I asked. I was checking out the TR, since I was twinked and could handle any aggro. I asked you nicely about the camp at first, but got angry when you threatened to "pull the whole zone on me" if I didnt leave. I love how you're leaving that part out. You were trying to bully a level appropriate character and his group out of the only area of the zone that gives decent XP, so you could farm belts and pads for your alts. I petitioned and was going to leave it at that, but you/your friend seemed to feel the need to make a forum thread about it. I wouldnt have even responded if you left it at me, but you decided to bring the entire VD guild into your rant.

I lied about nothing, and I fully admit to logging my bard and harassing you. At least I was being constructive and giving away and belts+pads I got to people who actually needed them. I regret none of my actions and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Any high level player that camps a newbie zone and tries to strong arm anyone who comes to check on their camp with the threat of "bringing the zone down on them" deserves a little harassment. Thankfully, I had the means to do something about it. You cant just wave your epeen around, threaten to train low level characters, and not expect anything to happen to you.

Now turning away from that, lets assume, for the sake of argument, that I was in the wrong in how I reacted by harassing you. Your way of dealing with that was to create a forum post trashing not only the actions of an individual player, but the entire VD guild as a whole. Two wrongs dont make a right. You're laughing about "how this is the way we resolve conflict in p99"? Remind me again of who made the thread? Because it sure wasnt me.

What exactly was the basis of your petition?

So after reading this post, we've decided to remove Negligence, this type of mentality I will not tolerate in Vex. I have removed him, and that is that. Training, Harrassing another player no matter if you think you were wronged in some way or hurt by words is really not ok with us. Walking around the server like you are some kind of reckoning god, with our guild tag, is not ok, no matter the circumstances. /ignore and /petition and move on in our opinion. When we first came to this server the same thing happened to our level 12's, we never did get into the TR it was constantly camped, we moved on, went to Commons and enjoyed the game and met new people, we did not pick a fight with the high levels in CB and bring down vengence upon them for robbing us of our precious Lord Darnish and Crush. Ill stick up for the new players whether i get guild kicked or banned. I have zero tolerance for high level players thinking they're the shit and threatening to train lowbies. Sorry im not sorry [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

+1 again to Bella, good to see a Guild protecting the best interests of the server rather than just themselves. Paints you and your entire guild in a positive light [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
