Clurg is seperate faction for the two vendors at the town bar.
Bouncers are on OggokGuards faction, every merchant but those two are on MerchantsofOgguk (verant typo!). Merchants faction cannot be raised by quests/npc kills, guard faction maybe by frog leg quest or by handing Dooga varying flesh of edible high elf/human/erudite species.

Hmm, OK. That's surprising - I thought Clurg was all guards and merchants because when you talk to Clurg (the NPC), he talks about how he established the bouncers, and I never saw those other factions from doing newbie quests.
