![]() The Drovlarg Sentrys do...but not all of them? I don't remember these guys seeing sneak but apparently they do. They seem to be the only ones yet some con indiff and some KOS when sneaking? Is this intended?

![]() They're see invis. You've been away a while! Rogue Hide/Sneak now is the same as Invis+IVU, so any see invis or see-ivu mob will see through it.

![]() Yup! A couple of years! When did this change make its way in? I remember several mobs throughout the game being able to see through sneak but sneak was always its own thing. I am curious where they pulled this info from cause you can even find old posts on ZAM talking about a mob seeing invis but not sneak :-p.

![]() I think he means he sees sneak, without hide, by back? If so, it seems not possible, and as a monk, ive moved alot in KC and no mob saw my sneak. In the whole game i mean heh

![]() I played a rogue a lot back in early EQ. Hide was always better than regular invis. There were still mobs that could see thru it though. Sol B for instance. All the see invis kobolds didn't see thru rogue hide but the sonic bats and giants could. I did a lot of corpse dragging back in the day in that zone after wipes on kobolds. Often in the higher dungeons there were things that could still see thru rogue hide here and there but rogue hide was always a little better than regular invis (not even counting the ivu part).

Nothing, not fire giants, undead, Snowflake, Nillipus, nor dragons, whether see invis or not, sees through sneak, as long as you are in the ~180 degree arc extending from the mob's back where sneak actually works. You can tell sneak is correctly applied and working if the mob cons indifferent. Rogues hide/sneak was changed a few patches back to act like itu+invis. Mobs that cast see invis, and certain other mobs that are innate, will see through Rogue hide/sneak. However, as long as you are in the back arc of the mob, sneak will work. | |||
