No level cap increase in Velious, it's from an era of MMORPGs where content is why people bought expansions instead of stupid gimmicky shit. I can't think of too many games (none come to mind) where there was a full blown expansion that did nothing but add content without anything new in terms of races/classes/levels.

I believe you can start hunting in Velious around level 40 and go to max level in those zones. So pretty much an overlap with Kunark 40+, but the loot in general is better and faction is an enormous part of the expansion so you'll want to start hunting there and planning out which side to fight for as soon as you can.

That's what I care about.

So this is one of those amazing misconceptions. First people thought that epic drops went to minis with epic release, and now people think they go in with Velious release? Velious had been out quite a while before the epic shortcuts and accessibility went in. Fear and Hate 2.0 were right before Luclin release, I can't imagine P99 revamping those less than 6 months into Velious.
