Hope Ventura gets to run in 2016 and even then, America has to make it to 2016 first, then at least a year before anything that changes has any impact.
Truth is, Obama care is setup to fail unless things are changed very quickly. The way the fines are and how easy it is to exploit the system with the way it is, makes for a very inefficient to say the least, health care system.
1% of 60k/year or $300/mo, what would you rather pay? Of course, most people dont even make half of that so the fines for not carrying health insurance will be less than a single month of coverage.
There was a good reason that insurance companies wouldn't cover people with pre-existing conditions, it screws up the whole pyramid scheme.
This ACA law will only last as long as it can, I firmly believe it wont survive another term in office, regardless of its political affiliation, it is just too forced, half of the shit in the law wasn't thought out at all in a worst case scenario.
I love the idea of America, I just hope one day we can salvage this sinking ship. There is really no better place to live and the people who make up this great nation are worth fighting for.
