Kunark's great, most people don't get to really dig in deep on it.

The way this shit should work is a 4 year classic through Velious rolling restart server... kind of like a new ladder in D2. Botb champions crowned etc.

You can also pull casters / whatever out of a room without initial line of sight (i.e., so you can fd without getting nuked) with stalking probes...and of course I always forget to take screenshots doing Chardok King / Queen / Prince, which is the best example of pulling with probes ever...

Way its supposed to work is that you fire bow

Engage sneak, reducing agro range of mobs

Arrow hits target, sneak reduced agro so social agro doesn't affect his buddies

Mob comes solo


But because range weapon agro is instant sneak pull broken

Range weapons should have travel delay like bolts. Both bolts and range are borked

This just seem like it happens with short range weapon but it is not the case. I did some further test at my current camp.

Results:

if puling with short range weapon throwing knife , hammer, shuriken etc the target you have hit turns and moves toward you. If at time it turn and steps toward you it is in its normal agro radius sneak breaks.

You can prevent this by timing your throw as you start to move backward thus maintaining out of agro range while mob moves toward you. this will give you a few more steps and will usually prevent the mob you pulled friends from joining. (i could pull and break the iskar exil camp easy with sneak pulling using shuriken with this method)


Obviously you want to get longest range weapon your class can use. Personally I am heading back to freeport with my monk for training and making javelins.
