The great part about opinions is that they can't be right or wrong so stop trying to make it sound as though some things are factual assertions. We know nihilums position on almost everything, what id be more interested in is having others give input as well with GMs / staff on stream, with the chance to make our cases for things outside of ForumQuest with the boring hyperbole / memes and other irrelevant tactics. Either way incoming shit show of troll posts, this post wasn't about advocating a particular position, as much as it's about discussing options with the staff directly in a different medium then ForumQuest. If you want to debate those things do it in a different thread.
Every thread turns into nihilum vs everyone else. I want a round table discussion where we can bounce all sorts of ideas off each other in hopes of us being able to reach a happy middle ground to building a healthier server.

No, I believe your opinions are well documented as being things to help solidify one guilds hold on the server. Everyone knows nihilums opinions:
Transfers are bad / variance is bad / LNS is bad / level range bad / some of you support exp changes but most don't. Rules are great as is. I.e, all things that he'll keep the ruling guild in place, help make it difficult to compete (incoming non sequiturs about no leaders or some other bs); and have led to this server being a ghost town. It's not working. I'm glad it's working for one guild, but it's not for everyone else. People aren't flocking here. There's a reason for that. Some we may all agree on such as the state of global ooc. Some, a few of us may agree on such as exp. Some we may completely disagree on. But in the context of ForumQuest nothing will ever happen other than locked threads and mud slinging. Hence the desire for civil discourse on a stream. No one is asking to disband nihilum or ban their members or to force rotations or things like that. We do want a more competitive environment though, which is predicated on a fresh influx of players. The tired reason of "there's no one to build something" is just factually inaccurate. Let's take a real look at why the server is how it is and lets do it on stream.

Variance is retarded, PVP over PVE targets is the goal of a red server, this is best accomplished by all parties knowing when the PVE will be available. LNS is not bad, LNS is awesome, and it is working as intended right now. Red Dawn received LNS on every guild v guild occasion before you decided to ally with Azrael the griefers. You dug your graves by shaking hands with the toxic players. Level range changes are disliked by the majority of players because it decreases the available pool of players in which they can pvp. A valid concern. I believe a 4 level range would increase the ability for the lower level player to actually have a chance, therefore I support 4 level range. Exp changes, definitely are needed. Ones that support group play on a pvp server are very important, standalone solo xp modifiers should be avoided, but have not been thus far. | |||
