There is just no where to go with blue. Lots to do on PVP, lots more variety and more fun. Don't read the forums, just play and have fun.

A new PVP server would let a lot of people get a fresh start on Project 1999 in a new and dynamic way.

yea Daldaen doesnt know what eq pvp is if hes comparing it to live zek or red99 LOL.
Mitic nailed it. theres nothing to do on blue except get to end game VERY easily lol.
blue is simply time dedication, u can watch tv and jus barly pay enough attention to get anywhere. its a cakewalk. and once you get your epic and raid gear w.e, then what?

at launch red99 was boss, but its been in decline and now with a sensitive ban-happy gm, its only getting smaller. the pvp was relentless and very painful but it add's a sense of realness to the game. you always gotta look over your shoulder for pvp.

(idk about red99 currently tho however. it was a red server but now its indeed taking on a shade of purple. people are focusing on getting screenshots or video of people not following the rules and getting em introuble)

hopefully they will remake a sullon zek someday, but with PVP gm's lol.

iv been on red since day 1 and goofed up on xmas from gettin angry drunk, and didnt read the pnp rules. sirken banned me, other gm gave me 2 week susp. i get back on and get help from ppl to help catch me backup in levels, and Oops! sirken rebanned and i gota write a 5th petition? maybe 4th.

so as of this moment, all that time that was put into my account. all the good times n long hours camping stuff, making friends and enemies along the way ALLLL went out the window from christmas night, when i used bad judgement and drank and said bad stuff in /ooc lol. he re-enabled the ban over that...


such a pitty man, if any1 does makea real pvp server. plz do share

over-sensitive gm's mirroring over-sensitive blue players

need red gms and blue gms to be separate powers. otherwise 100-peak purple server cometh (forevereth)

THIS JUST IN: Red players spilling over to blue forums in droves. Now in an open rebellion against the GMs. Sources from red are telling us these GMs will do anything in their power to prevent red99 server from existing in the EQ EMU database. An anonymous interview was conducted with one of the red99 daily players, though their answers could not be deciphered as the interviewee was having serious bouts of sobbing fits and tears pouring down their face. We will update you on the situation as soon as this player can be consoled and able to speak in complete sentences.

PvP servers should never be considered ever. They were a terrible idea for a game balanced around PvE where PvP was an afterthought.

Making another Blue server would see 10x the traffic as another red server. Its a friday evening and red doesn't even have 100 toons logged on...
