Game Mechanics: Rogues double-backstabbing at low levels

I've had this happen quite a few times while playing my level 20 rogue this evening:

While impressive, this shouldn't be possible at all until 55 (according to someone who actually knows something about rogues, i.e. not me).

Everyone's double hitting. I'm double attacking on a cleric. Devs know.

Unless I'm mistaken, it's not actually a double hit. The final attack message that finishes off an NPC is being duplicated.

That makes sense. I was seeing it a lot before while soloing (never backstabbing in the middle of the fight, only the beginning/end). Once I got in a group, I wondered why I only saw it when finishing a mob off.

Somebody definitely accidentally altered the code to double display final hit message. You're not double hitting.
