You're an idiot. Stop embarrassing yourself, yourself.

There are plenty of well educated professional people here who both hunt for sport and choose, specifically, to live in the country particularly because they don't want to have to deal with "multiple homes" and hipsters and yuppies like you.

Me? I live in a place just like you describe. I like the conveniences of living in the city but, on a near daily basis, I'm finding myself rather enjoying the thought of choking one of these fuckstick hipsters out with their glass piece or PBR can, rolling them up in a little ball, and stuffing them up the tailpipe of their fucking prius. These assholes are long on opinions about how we all need to live for the environment, yet can't seem to grasp the concept of picking up their dogs' turds when they shit in my yard. I would love to wake up in the morning and have the OP's view of the back yard from my kitchen window. And if you weren't retarded, so would you. Hell, I would be happy just being able to put my paddleboard in some water without having to step in dog shit in my own driveway loading up and having to pay for parking when I get to the river.

Being innundated with people is nothing to aspire to unless you live in a real city. Like NYC. Some of us did that before specificly choosing this. One guy I knew from the city now lives on a farm in BFE Georgia precisely to have the opposite experience. He told me he would always do one or the other, but would never be, in his words, "a suburban pudknocker." Get over yourself.

P.S. In Tennessee we have rednecks. Hillbillies are in Kentucky, West Virginia and that part of the Midwest. The OP is from middle Tennessee where it's barely hilly at all.
Where do these hypothetical well educated people who choose to live in Hooterville work at?

Small footprint living isn't part of some hipster lifestyle for most people. It's necessary and logical outcome of living where people actually want to live -- ie, not in Tennessee.

Really, if you had just started your post with "In Tennessee we have..." people would know to stop reading there.

Small footprint living? Is that what it's called now? Keep us posted, because it changes near daily. Yeah, it is. The global warming hoax is nothing more than a religion for the self indulgent left who purport to make the rules on what is normal and what is not. As you stereotype an entire state and region, you are too stupid and have your head so far up your own ass that you have no idea that you, yourself, are a walking, breathing cliche.

I'm not a hunter, myself, but I know a lot of people who are. We aren't talking duck dynasty. I'm talking about M.D.s, J.D.s, all manner of professionals really, and people with wildlife management degrees. I know people who run conservsncy groups responsible for keeping the entire Tennessee river gorge clean. One has a masters in something related to that and now manages 400 to 600 acre ranches and hunting preserves in Texas. Actual environmentalists who get their hands dirty with it and have a vested interest in it. Who also hunt and fish. Not a bunch of turds smoking weed in a condo in Colorado who think they make a difference by driving a Prius with an Obama sticker on it.

I say again. You're clearly an idiot.

Default i had to write this to tell off some other dumb person so here you go

CO2 cooling the planet is misleading. The greenhouse gases block solar rays, yes... but in no way does the NASA study claim a long term benefit from increased CO2 levels.

There is quite a bit of observation to assert a trend in climate change is due to human activity, the changes will have negative consequences, and will not stop unless there are changes in our behaviors.

This meeting just took place March 10th 2014:
http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/...A291PE20140310

In regards to CO2 levels:

"Global warming preceded by increasing carbon dioxide concentrations during the last deglaciation"
http://www.nature.com/nature/journal...ture10915.html

"CO2 [has] led and was the primary driver behind most of the glacial-interglacial warming. According to the Shakun et al. data, approximately 7% of the overall glacial-interglacial global temperature increase occurred before the CO2 rise, whereas 93% of the global warming followed the CO2 increase."

In regards to "ice" levels:

http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.php?release=2008-010

http://www.nature.com/ngeo/journal/v.../ngeo1767.html

http://www.sciencemag.org/content/338/6111/1183

Antarctica is losing LAND ice as a whole. The gain in SEA ice is part of a complex negative feedback cycle. Essentially, an increase in sea ice is not a good sign that the environment is experiencing an extended trend which will reverse. Ice AREA and MASS are different things as well.

Here is a list of organizations that accept anthropogenic global warming as real and scientifically well-supported:

NASA’s Goddard Institute of Space Studies (GISS): http://www.giss.nasa.gov/edu/gwdebate/

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA): http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/climate/globalwarming.html

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC): http://www.grida.no/climate/ipcc_tar/wg1/index.htm

National Academy of Sciences (NAS): http://books.nap.edu/collections/glo...ing/index.html

State of the Canadian Cryosphere (SOCC) – http://www.socc.ca/permafrost/permafrost_future_e.cfm

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): http://epa.gov/climatechange/index.html

The Royal Society of the UK (RS) – http://www.royalsoc.ac.uk/page.asp?id=3135

American Geophysical Union (AGU): http://www.agu.org/sci_soc/policy/cl..._position.html

American Meteorological Society (AMS): http://www.ametsoc.org/policy/climat...arch_2003.html

American Institute of Physics (AIP): http://www.aip.org/gov/policy12.html

National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR): http://eo.ucar.edu/basics/cc_1.html

American Meteorological Society (AMS): http://www.ametsoc.org/policy/jointacademies.html

Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (CMOS): http://www.cmos.ca/climatechangepole.html

In short:

"Every major scientific institution dealing with climate, ocean, and/or atmosphere agrees that the climate is warming rapidly and the primary cause is human CO2 emissions."
