Just to add to this, I decided to test the xp with a character in the 20's. Took my Level 22 High Elf Wizard and turned in 2 Gnoll fangs 1 at a time, first one took me from 67% to 69% and the second one only went from 69% to 70%. Not sure if this is classic or not, as I never hunted in this zone on live past level 14 or 15 but just wanted to add to the information available.
