R99 Behavioral Issues [GMs]

Been killed in pvp but never griefed.

Sirken responded to my in game /petition within 30 seconds regarding a bugged mob.

Roll today to get in a good spot for when the changes are implemented! Still a solid exp bonus at early levels.

And btw, as I've stated multiple times in the past, we know this community is fantastic. There's just a very vocal minority that are grade A assholes that need to shape up. Everyone else contributes to what is probably one of the most welcoming group of players on either server. And to answer your question, no, a shitty internet connection doesn't disqualify you from the Guide program, but you're likely to get veto'd by Rogean or Nilbog if you have a forumfucksplosion in a thread.

It is correct that I do not have a guide app. Had any GM actually read what I posted in the Guide topic, someone would have realized I was wanting to know the answer you just gave me before I submitted an application.
I sent a Private Message to Sirken and then finally asked openly in the Guide topic about my internet. If you'd seen the reactions I get about it and not being able to use TS or Ventrilo you would understand why I needed to know that first. Sirken and Zade were both posting in other topics during the time I waited and after I finally gave up I know one of them posted again in the topic, but never acknowledged anything I said.

I know I will be disqualified from being a Guide based purely on that post. I knew that when I wrote it. However, you are wrong if you think I was or am mad about this. Were I to become angry it would be much, much longer and more insulting. It was exasperation. I have watched one thing after another cause people to leave no matter how much I do and devoid of any information it starts to seem like you guys are actively working against me. I could completely understand everyone just deciding to kill Red and I DO NOT want that to happen.

I will keep doing what I do on my end regardless. Helping people is what I enjoy and I don't care what anyone thinks of me for it. It's likely better I don't become a Guide anyway. I don't think any of you would enjoy how strict and unyielding my principles are and I get to avoid getting involved in staff and guild politics.

I am not trying to reconcile or take back anything I said. You GMs do things in ways I cannot condone and I can no longer honestly trust that you all have the best interests of the server as a priority. I have never asked for help of any kind whatsoever from a GM on Red and I never will, nor will I continue this discussion publicly. I wanted you to respond. If you wish to say anything else to me in particular, please send me a private message.

Also, though it may seem disingenuous at this point, you did respond and answered my original question so thank you very much. If you have characters not associated with being a GM I will gladly help you if you just ask. I don't want to know it is you, I will help anyone who asks for it and my assistance is always free.

I don't know who will wind up as Guides or GMs here in the future, but for the sake of the quiet majority, choose them well. There are a lot of good people depending on it.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I read every single post in the topic before choosing to say what I did. You should not make assumptions about me beyond my willingness to help. I am not like anyone you have ever met unless you are a well-versed psychiatrist.

It took me a good hour or more to fill out the guide application. If you can't spend an hour putting in an application then how can you expect a GM to take 5 minuets to look at and answer your message out of the other 50 messages they have in their inbox?

You think you deserve special treatment? You don't have to take the time like everyone else to put in an application unless your questions are answered first?

Then you come to the forums and call out GMs?
