Wow, there's only a single snarky (and not even direcly insulting) post per page; by this forum's standards that's incredibly tame. All the rest were just people informing you that you're the umpteenth person to try and start this discussion.

Now don't get me wrong, I agree this forum in general could use a bit more civility ... but that's because of the full-on attacks you see in other threads; this one doesn't even compare to those. If you're upset by it ... well you're going to need thicker skin if you want to start threads here.

Have you ever been at a party with a guy who keeps starting conversations about religion or politics, even though everyone else at the party knows better and tries to avoid his attempts? That's you. In any social situation there are unspoken rules of etiquette, and you violated those rules here by trying to start the same conversation everyone but you is tired of.

i agree with your point in regards to this thread, but as far as that guy at the party? i think hes a real life hero. well, as long as he isnt bringing up these points to just make his. sometimes people only ask about things so that they can voice their opinion.

i would lvoe to be at a party where people are having a mature, informational conversation about religion/politics. but all it ever ends up being is a bunch of people yelling "SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOOOOTTSS"

Earlier posts are not in as serious of a tone. The last one was specific to a user who jumps in most threads I see just to say something shitty and never really adds to it. But you're right. No more threads for me, I'm in far too sensitive a state. Lol

I hope I didn't convince you of that. Look as long as you:

A) spend awhile lurking here first to learn the community's etiquette, or
B) search for previous threads before starting your own

you won't get legit frustration from people. You'll still get trolls: this community is open to all. But just don't feed them, and recognize them for what they are, and they don't have to ruin your day.

You can. Either:
A) quote one, copy the code it produces, go back, quote another, and paste the first quote in, or
B) just copy/paste the text you want to quote and use the quote icon (the speech box) to format it.
