I've been collecting belts from light blue / green mobs in CB and making quite good exp on my bard. I think at lvl 10 for a bard (we have exp penalty I believe) it's 9% of a level per 4 belts so you'll probably earn more, and I can get them quite quickly soloing the green centurions. The exp seems better than killing blues that don't have belts. Not sure if this applies to clerics though.
