Unfortunately item loot would scare a lot of people off, coin loot scares people as it is. I know coins are not a big deal to people who have been around a while but to a new player?? Getting pk'ed by a twink while you are fighting a mob half dead and having all your spell money stolen is a big deal. I know people say bank but the bank tends to be a long way from the exp.

Required level on items would fix the twink situation, it would make mid level pvp a lot of fun. Some of the best times I had on sullon zek were leveling up when everyone was fairly evenly geared.

I played on the SZ good team so I have experience being an underdog, it was still a blast because 1v1 you had a decent chance of winning. I am glad there are a lot of responses and actually not too much flaming.
Can you imagine the kind of manhours it would take to do this for each item? Aint happening. No twinking is also one of the most non-classic things i can imagine, too. Server had a rocky start, bad choices were made in game mechanics which killed alot of the pop, server slowly recuperating, this is as good as it gets.

The answer to mid lvl pvp is population not limits on twinking. If we can build a thicker mid lvl population (which is already happening) people will duke it out all over. Not everyone will be a twink too.

We just need to facilitate a larger population of players from 1-50 and pvp will happen.

Anyone who wanted more people to stay on the server and improve it would think this is a good idea.

Your first character is going to get crapped on from time to time. This is red. Man up. You level up in cloth and either find friends to help or learn to solo light on your feet. If you don't want to get killed by twinked out characters, stay the hell out of the popular zones.

Eventually, you may choose to settle in with a guild that can help you gear your character out or you'll be high enough level to farm items that will sell and buy yourself a nice set of resist gear.

*EDIT* ^ It wont take too long for this to happen. Keep leveling!

It's red. Pvp doesn't happen if there's risk.

They either jump you while you're fighting a mob and halfway dead, or twinked to the teeth.

On my 45 bard I've never been pk'd. Rooted while kiting is it, no one knows how to pvp
