P99 not launching on Mac

Trying to get P99 to run on a Macbook but not having any luck...

I followed the directions on both of the stickied threads http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=56238 and http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...7&postcount=37 and I am still unable to get it to run. When I launch P99 from the Applications folder the icon appears in the dock, but nothing happens. The color scheme on my screen flashes for a second, but then nothing happens after that. When I close the program, it freezes and then I have to force quit it.

Has anyone had this problem before? I went over the directions in the threads I linked above 3 times pretty meticulously. Hopefully someone here has an answer!

I'm having troubles getting on as well. I deleted all my files a while back, and attempted recently.

The fix for me was selecting "test" in the Wine options. For whatever reason that worked.

Now I'm having issues with frequent crashes tonight.

Tried running the test and it didn't seem to change anything unfortunately=(
