Maybe it's just that you should be able to keep the vendor window open while FD? But you have to open the vendor window before you FD? This is wheer faction would come in to play.

This is how classic was:
1. go near unfriendly merchant that will not sell to you
2. FD
3. OPEN trade window
4. sell all your items
5. leave

so no you did not have to open the vendor window before FD..Someone other then guinea please respond to this thread.
