item tooltips

seems like when i mouse over an item,the tooltips are gone from just about everything,is there a fix for this? its just become a recent problem(as of yesterday) so im not sure what happened or how it happened.

This usually happens when your computer has been on for long periods of time.

Also, seems to happen sometimes for me when I have a Windows update installation pending.
