Racial sensitivity is at an all time high, anyone who tries to act like something that happened centuries ago and that hasn't been around in decades has an effect on them to this day is a loser. There were some folks in my family killed in the holocaust, I don't whine every time someone makes Holocaust jokes and act like modern day Germans owe me a damn thing. Cause they didn't have shit to do with it and neither did I.

Jesus fucking christ. This is why I'm embarrassed to even mention that I play on P99. The emancipation of slaves was not centuries ago - it was 150 years ago. That's a historical minute. Did you not read a single word of American history? When slavery was abolished, it wasn't just fucking fantastic as if everything was great for blacks thereafter. There was the whole thing of equal rights - you know, blacks being systematically oppressed by hate groups, lynchings, segregation, discrimination, etc.

Here in reality - in the world in which we actually live - most African-Americans with grey hair can probably remember a time when they weren't allowed to use a certain bathroom. And holy shit - would you even believe it if I told you racial oppression and discrimination still exist? How many black presidents have we had?

Oh, never mind, go back to telling us how great of a person you are for not being offended by holocaust jokes, before you go back to your hugely privileged white, male, entitled life on perpetual easy mode.

I fail to see a point to be made when you're blaming racial prejudice on people who are now dead. Did it exist? Yes. Does it exist today? Yes. In fact, racial prejudice today is merely a personal opinion in most places. The only thing the law discriminates against is whites because most feel that we should feel guilt for something that we could not control.

It would be completely foolish to say blacks do not have it better than most today with reasons mentioned above. If you asked MLK if there would ever be things like AA or even a black president, he would laugh in your face.
