Seems like the only people defending this fucktard are other bards or BDA. No surprise there.
I'm not defending anyone here bud, get that straight. Suck a boner

It's your fault. How you allow people like this in your guild chest? Shouldn't you champion the PnP?

Basically, I was told that *I* should move because a Bard was swarm kiting where I had been exping before they even showed up (I wasn't alone, either), and that it was OK for them to be taking everything in that particular area, despite others having been pulling from there already, because there were other mobs up in the zone.
and the guide even said you were being unreasonable man, get over yourself

We actually don't mind intervening when people are monopolizing zones, or disrupting play.

When we get a petition like this, we check to see who's pulling what, where they are pulling from, whether or not groups still have mobs to pull, etc. We can move around the zone much faster than a player can, with Gmspeed and the /goto command, and are able to assess situations much more efficiently as a result. While the bard nearest you may seem to be dominating everything in sight, in reality he may just be forced to pull from that particular area due to other groups/bards/whatever. We try to keep a balance so everyone can play together, bards have every right to XP in OT just like everyone else! Sometimes finding a balance isn't possible, or sometimes we misjudge the situation and make a mistake, but I like to think the CSR staff (especially our Guides) do a great job of making sure everyone can kill things in whatever zone they want to kill things in.

Moving a player (bard or any other class) or regulating where they can pull is always a last resort. More often than not a simple tell to the player in question resolves any issues within a ten or fifteen minutes when mobs being to spawn again. Sometimes it's hard to tell if the situation is even improving when you're in a full group trying to get as many mobs as you can to the ramp! Then suddenly you realize you're back to steady pulls and you feel silly for getting so worked up.

I personally make exceptions for two situations - the first is bards involved in massive kite pulls to power-level, particularly where another AE class is doing most/all of the damage. These groups are usually a "most mobs per hour" type mentality and tend to need extra policing or they get out of control. The second is any high-level class messing around in a lowbie zone, pulling more than a camp or two. It really irks me when I see a level 60 in Crushbone laying waste to the zone - I really wish players would be more considerate in dungeons, especially in the entry level dungeons where players returning to EQ after a decade often go to experience their first "dungeon nostalgia" kick. There's nothing more disheartening than seeing a player with their first toon on p99 run into Crushbone, hooting and hollering, only to find everything is dead because someone is powerleveling.... or worse, collecting shoulder pads (wtf?). That specific action usually causes players to get frustrated and/or confused and leave the server, all because someone wanted to PL in an easy area.

We do our best to make sure everyone can enjoy all zones, regardless of class!

p.s. Stay out of Kurn's tower you filthy power-levelers. Leave my lizards alone!

Typical BDA "forumquesting click" picking on a fine outstanding member of the p99 community is all I see here, +1 for telling Anthrax you didn't need him you had his boss on the other line also.

/BDA GM Favoritism

/Chest is Bossy

/Cucumbers nowhere to be seen with a clever 1 liner

Obviously BDA should take a OT suspension of 2-4 weeks minimum.

Everyone stay out of OT and you'll have more fun.

The shitty player progression:

1-10 East Commonlands (can I haz regen/ds/hp/sow plz?)
11-15 West Commonlands (stop killing the guards!)
15-20 Oasis (orc highway looking for healz)
20-30 Lake of Ill Omen/South Karana (stop taking our merbs bards!)
30-40 Overthere (stop taking our merbs bards!)
40-50 City of Mist (stop taking our merbs shamans!)
50-55 Karnors (train to zone!)
55+ Sebilis/Howling Stones (/tell Nearestcleric pay you 200p for rez)

Play in dungeons early and often or you're gonna have a bad time.
